19th Century Belgian (English Proofed) Pinfire Revolver
With a folding trigger, bag shaped 2 piece grip and octagonal to round barrel.
It has Birmingham Proof Marks to the cylinder and the barrel (it was common practice for Belgian makers to send their pieces to England for proofing).
Although the steelwork is heavily stained, it gives the piece an attractive appearance and the bag shaped grip is in good condition.
The mainspring is strong, but the action is defective in that the return spring doesn't work and the cylinder doesn't revolve automatically.
The foresight is missing and the folding trigger pin has been damaged so that it doesn't fold. It's ejector rod is missing.
An inexpensive piece that needs a bit of TLC.
