19th Century Belgian Made Pinfire Pocket Revolver In Its Fitted Case With Accessories
A beautiful brass framed 7mm pocket revolver with gold (yellow metal) inlay to the blued cylinder and barrel, along with a full set of accessories in its wooden, burgundy velvet and leather? fitted case.
The action is single and double action and is very crisp.
The brass frame has foliate and ring dot engraving and has the serial number 6009 on the right hand side.
The cylinder is also foliate engraved and has the Liege Proof Mark along with the Crowned N Inspection Mark, which I believe dates it to between 1856 and 1877.
It looks as though there might be the Makers Mark on the right side of the barrel, but it has been struck off centre and is illegible to me.
Finally the burr walnut two piece grip is in great shape and is another quality feature of this piece.
An absolutely stunning cased set.
Barrel length 9cm, Overall length 19.5cm.
This antique pistol is considered obsolete and non functioning, and is sold as a collectable ornamental item. This product is available for purchase in the UK without a license
