19th Century Very Small Powder Flask With A Friction Pull Off Lid

Very heavy for its size and stamped Sykes just below its brass lid.

I've not seen one with a friction lid before, but it fits tightly, the top unscrews cleanly to allow refilling and the seams are all good.

A very interesting item.
