19th Century Belgian Or Possibly French Pocket Pinfire Revolver In Fine Condition
A lovely piece with much of its original bluing remaining.
With crisp floral engraving to the frame, cylinder and octagonal section of the barrel.
The metalwork is in great condition with no pitting or corrosion and with much of its colouring remaining.
The barrel and cylinder are stamped with a G, but I have failed to find a maker with that mark.
The cylinder is also marked with a 3 and O R, (this might be C R, very difficult to tell), and once again I cannot find a maker with this mark.
The single and double action is crisp and the cylinder revolves nicely.
The 2 piece wooden grip is in great condition too, with no splits, cracks or shrinkage.
Overall a very tidy pistol indeed.
