19th Century Back Action Percussion Cap Service Holster Pistol.
Full stocked service pistol with brass mounts and brass tipped ramrod (not original).
Main spring works well, but action only holds at half position and the hammer screw is ill fitting, meaning that the hammer rattles.
The regulation (service) style round barrel is stamped with Birmingham proof marks, the letter B and 22 over stamped 25.
The stock is well polished, but shows signs of old wood worm damage.
