An 18 Bore 19th Century All Metal Made Balkan Rat Tail Holster Pistol
All steel construction with decorative brass overlay, brass pommel and barrel band.
The barrel has 3 cartouches at the breech and indistinct markings down the top of the barrel.
The lock works well at full and half position with a strong spring. It has worn engraving in several places as well an indistinct circular cartouche.
A large nicely proportioned pistol that definitely had an active life. This one hasn't been left as a wall decoration.
Barrel length 32.5cm, overall length 52cm.
