Mid 19th Century Belgian Made 7mm Pinfire Pepperbox Pocket Revolver
A clean, but undecorated example with a bag shaped 2 piece grip which holds the ejector rod.
The metalwork is in good condition with a smooth dark patina and no pitting.
The grip is likewise in good order with no shrinkage, splits or cracks and only a couple of small bruises.
Liege Proof Mark, Inspection Stamp and another mark that I can't make out.
The loading gate mechanism is crisp and operates as it should.
The double action is also crisp, however, the hammer sits loosely at rest (please see the video).
There is also a damaged screw head to the arm that holds the cylinder in place.
A tidy little revolver which feels tactile in the hand.
