English Late 18th/Early 19th Century Pocket Pistol signed Twigg
With a concealed trigger, top sliding safety catch and shield shaped silver escutcheon.
Engraved Twigg on one side and London on the other within cartouches surrounded by stand of arms.
The barrel unscrews and the action operates well in both half and full positions.
The London proof marks are worn, but visible and the woodwork is in good condition.
There is a small hairline crack (approx 1cm, please see photos) in the body on one side, close to where the barrel attaches, and there is some staining to the metalwork.
A lovely piece retailed for one of Londons famous makers.
