19th Century Percussion Converted Model 1822 .700 Cavalry Pistol
Lock clearly signed in script Mre Impale de St Etienne, with regulation brass mounts.
Several other inspection stamps to the metal parts, including R in a shield on the lock plate.
Barrel tang marked Mle 1822 with another final letter or number.
Barrel and woodwork also stamped as per the photos.
Slight bend to the ramrod.
Action is strong and crisp and overall has the usual feel of quality that French Pistols seem to have.
