Officers Flintlock Pistol by H. Nock

Late 18th Century Officers Flintlock Pistol signed H. Nock.

With regualtion 9" barrel with clear London Proof and makers mark H.N.

Brass sideplate, ramrod pipe and trigger guard. Captive steel ramrod (end missing).

Lockplate engraved H. Nock and trigger guard engraved 212 (probably an issue number)

Woodwork has the usual bruising and small cracks, plus an inset repair in front of the trigger guard.  Barrel tang screw is a replacement.

Action functions in half and full position, but is smooth rather than crisp and the trigger pull is a little "spongy". 

A nice military piece by a renowned London maker.
