19th Century 0.3" Calibre Belgian Pocket Revolver In Its Fitted Pipe Case

A handsome closed frame type pinfire revolver in a clean steel finish with a folding trigger and shell ejector built into the bird beak grip.

It is in lovely condition overall with the exception of the trigger return spring, which is faulty or broken (please see the video).

The wooden 2 piece bird beak grip is cross hatched and is showing no shrinkage, but there is a fine crack on the left hand side running upwards from the retaining screw.

It seems to be double action only, as it does not hold by just pulling back the hammer, this is odd though as the hammer does have a spur to allow this (maybe another fault?)

It is stamped with the Liege Proof Mark and the Inspection Stamp of a Crowned N, which I believe dates it to between 1856 and 1877.

The pistol fits very neatly into its fitted "Pipe" type wooden case which is made of black leather wrapped wood and lined on one side with felt.

The brass hinges and catch are delicate, but in working order.

A handsome cased pocket revolver.

Barrel length 6.5cm, Overall length 15.5cm, Case 17.5cm.

This antique pistol is considered obsolete and non functioning, and is sold as a collectable ornamental item. This product is available for purchase in the UK without a license.
