19th Century 4 Barrel Overcoat Size Pistol With Beautiful Carved Bone Inlay
A very interesting and unusual piece missing its lock and trigger guard.
There is a small spring loaded knub in front of the trigger that when operated allows the barrel cluster to rotate. It looks like this was connected to the trigger guard which was moved backwards to allow this rotation.
The steel has an aged dark grey patina with some surface corrosion and the stock is a beautiful rich dark colouration with smoothed edges.
The bone decoration has also aged beautifully.
A very interesting piece in need of bringing back to life with some serious restoration.
