Late 18th Century Queen Anne Style Flintlock Pistol by Richards of London
With a cannon barrel and one piece slab sided grip.
Clear London Proof Marks and signed within scrolling cartouches on one side Richards and the other, London.
Mainspring is very strong and the action works well in both positions.
There is bruising to the grip and the metalwork is stained, but in good condition given this pistols age.
Given the potential date period of this pistol, the maker is most likely John Richards as he was established in London in 1775 and had properties in London until his death in 1821.
