Stamped on the cylinder "The Guardian American Model 1878".
This is the 7mm model, they were also available in 9mm and 12mm but these are rarer.
Stamped AM on the loading gate and the Liege Proof mark at the loading end of the cylinder.
AM may be the manufacturer, but I have been unable to find who that might be.
The 2 piece wooden grip is in good condition with 2 minor splits at the grip.
The ejection rod is missing, as is the foresight.
The mainspring is good and the action works in double action only, but the cylinder doesn't revolve and the trigger doesn't return.
A bit of history crying out for some TLC.
Barrel length 7cm, overall length 17cm.
